Default Crowbar With Flashlight

This streak shows up when I use the mod and the crowbar (and all other melee weapons). It bobs up and down as I move and it's seriously distracting.

Any help with this is appreciated.

yeah i have no clue... it looks fine for me. wish i knew what the problem is.
you could try disabling all of your mods except for this one just as a test and see if the problem still occurs

Come to think of it, it seems to be the beam of the flashlight. Normally it's attached to the light of a gun, but here it has nothing to attach to and defaults to the center of the player model.

I'll see if I have any particle packs that affect it.

It wasn't any of the particle mods I had. Seems to be a problem with the game itself, or at least how it works on my machine. Source being Source, I suppose :steamfacepalm:

Best fix I fould was this mod that removes the flashlight beam.

Finally, FINALLY located the issue: the "Additional Melee Slot" add-on. When I disable it and the melee weapon stays in slot 2 as opposed to the new slot 7, the beam projects off the flashlight exactly as intended.

nice that you found the cause of the problem because i would've most likely never figured it out lol
