ENDING, Force Recon Blackscreen Fix, Mission Skip Issue
I saw some of you guys asking how the first possible ending can be achieved after progressing further into the campaigns later missions. (Scroll down)

As well as fix for the black screen issue at start and end of the cutscene in "Force Recon".
The latter is pretty easy. As soon as you approach the overview Position and the screen turns black, just save and quit, and then continue "Force Recon" in the campaign menu.
Repeat at the end of the cutscene, as soon as the black screen appears again. Pretty annoying, but manageable.

Next thing is a huge problem I haven't found a fix for yet.
After the cutscene, observing the research facility, the mission objectives don't get updated. No chitchat with MacMillian, no new orders, nothing.
I'm afraid this is a real gamebreaker, because it doesn't matter what I do. I tried just waiting with timelapse, tried to wait by using the 0-8-1 menu, went to the extraction point, tried to get extracted via 0-8-1 menu, tried to attack the base. Nothing makes the mission go on.
There isn't even an explanation for the ION Forces approaching suddently from around the boat, fighting (and getting killed) by AAF Infantry and a Tank approaching from east.

I even tried to use the cheat: "Shift"+"NumPad-" and typing "endmission". This just brings me back to the campaign menu where I can only decide to continue "Force Recon" or jump back to Sanctuary where I could start "Force Recon" right again.

I hope someone knows a possible workaround for this. I started FR four times by now and I'm really tired of it.

I marked the point (right after "An Eye For An Eye"), where you could decide to leave ION.

Can confirm. Did the exact same things and there is no way to progress beyond that mission. Seems like the last updates really crashed a lot of decent campaigns (e.g. Bell Tolls).

I eventually returned to the last "Home Sweet Home" Autosave and accomplished all the pirate infested spots, which was a lot of fun, and progressed to the point you meet the youknowho and chose the other mission which I ignored before. So...I got to say I wouldn't have been able to go further beyond that point in the campaign anyway. Flying that thing kinda works. But flying that thing and hitting marked targets...no way.

Cool stuff. Still thinking about this great campaign I once played and which was bugged af so I don't feel like going back to it.
Gonna try this workaround one day. Thanks!
