Recomended Tweaks and Changes
First of all, this is not a disscussion to rant about what YOU want to be changed for YOU. This is a place where people with thoughts and opinions that will benifit others will contribute said thoughts. Other than that, recomend away!

hello 101VB. first of all great mod, best out there so far :) there have been a few comments out on your mod saying how things could be changed to be more 'realistic'. Some of these are slightly selfish i'd say, but one or two such like the one from garrett told us how the bows should be changed slightly to fit the realism side of the mod. if you see his comment i would say give what he said a try. Apart from this i also would also recommend you making a mod that changes slingers like this one does. This would be great for not just me but anyone else that just wants slingers changed as there is NO other mod i can find that changes slingers and nothing else. Even if you decide not to do my two suggestions then i still think this mod is a good start to a chain of other mods that could essentialy do what this mod does. But well done :D

After this mod is in correct, and working order and once i'm happy with the outcome, changing slingers was on my mind. I will also be striving to "up" the realism side of things. The previous and current versions are still young and will require many changes. Thanks for the advice :) Cheers, 101Vaultboy

awesome :D im suprised you were happy with my suggestions. Im glad your willing to do slingers in the future, it should make ranged units alot better :)

i have sent you a friend request, i am willing to offer advice and support if you need someone to help you out. I will not mind if you reject but im more than happy to offer my assistance to help this mod, if that means colaborating the realism tweaks with you or discussing the ranges for the units, i want to help :)

ahha that would be good but i dont think there is any way to do that :P i know what you mean though, its more apealing when a whole volley of arrows hits an enemy at once instead of a few

well it more that its really annoying that only 10 out of 50 archers shoot and then ten at a time every 10-15 seconds :3

I agree on this factor. Drives me insane when I want to get one more full squad shot in before making them run, but only 5 of them shoot. Even an option to choose like "Full Squad Shots" to make it where the entire archer group shoots as one. Maybe even make it to where no one shoots until they are all ready.

P.S.
I was thinking about using this mod(I never use mods, I am a bit old school I guess haaha), I tried reading comments to get a feel for it, but the most I got is that it makes the archers worse with less accuracy....??

you could say that, but what i think this mod aims to do is bring a more realistic feel to the archers range side of things. of course this would mean they are less accurate as they are shooting someone around 300m to 400m away -_- if changing the rate of fire can be done then maybe 101VB can do it but at the moment this mod has only had a chance to get up and running, so give it some praise for what it gives and if you dont like it then go and make your own mod and see how that goes.. (not well in comparison)

I think it looks odd when they shoot like 200m and the shoot goes straight like it is a rifle round or something. Don't know if it is possible to remake it to look more realistic but in my opinion it would look better if you could change that or remake the tracers so it doesn't look like white laserbeams :p

Like to add that this mod has great potential! Only issue I find, and it's probably already been mentioned, is the strange overshoot if the archers choose to shoot in a straight line, insted of going for the overhead rain of arrow aproach.
Those straight shots tend to fly right above the enemy unit's head, no matter the range of which the volley is fired!
Makes it feel like I'm lining up a row of men with muskets in a way, the arrows+tracers makes it seem like it, and that said - those musket men would be the most horrid bunch of aimers I ever saw. :P
All things gathered, I love the new range and the potential, if my archers are stood behind objects, like a wall, large rock, a hill etc - they perform admireably with the rain of arrows aproach!

Although I know damage value are constants I still wonder if it can possibly be a function of range
Very good mod indeed. Please update and support it further. Thanks a lot.
