Additionally, getting into this scenario now goes a long way in helping it's future development. If you find bugs or other issues and report them properly to vermillion it will help improve the scenario now, and help further it's goal towards version 1.0 of it.
Its kinda my first full playthrough. Or at least game without server resets and in game development loss. Only dabbled on multiplayer RE1 servers a few seasons in the past.
But so far this time......
- A complete base on a starter planet (Akua)
- A string of teleport linked bases from Drone space to Prosperity. Choice picked around pertinent traders and resources
- Several cluster of ore/water/pentaxid/prometheum extraction & processing facilities wherever needed sprinkled across my territory
- Done most of the PDA missions and a few of the hidden ones
- Lots of all types of ships and vehicles
- A Polaris-Colonist trade route set up & cleared out with a freighter that pulls a 1/2 million credits with return trip
- Complete special component sourcing teleport network in Polaris space to acquire specialised crew, unconstructable constructing items and commodities.
- Been harvesting legacy & drone enough to not suffer for CPU
All this and no issues. Well.....game crashed once or twice....I think I fell through the floor of my CV a couple times way back. Definitely no loss of save games or file integrity issues.Waiting for RE2 1.0 only seems would have saved me from a few growing pains. (i.e. chasing swapped out missing content, messing with placeholders, new icons, or gameplay mechanic adjustments).
I'm very happy with my RE2 beta choice despite its for SP.
What I'm mostly worried about is new content being added and in order for me to experience it, I'd have to start a new safe. I never replay games or start new saves. I guess new planets I discover after a new update would have this new stuff (like PoI), but my old planets wouldn't get updated.
Also in normal Game-Progression, your Game-Experience makes you faster. But you will not get a Core 17 Battelship within one Day or something like that.
