Bandits are the super easy space enemies and they appear just as frequently as in RE1.
For the Legacy you get the quantum processors as well as unique hand weapons if you go to the Sea of Silence.
A way to make a quantum core is planned eventually for another even more end game upgrade.
Loot in RE2 for nearly everything was vastly improved over RE1 and this includes the legacy.
So yeah your experiences don't track with what RE2 has actually changed. Double check that you're playing RE2 and not some knockoff version and that it's up to date and not a really old build.
Well I mean apart from the bandits there isn't really anything interesting to slaughter in space. I just want more options than just a not even handful of choices at the beginning. And no I play RE2 and also without CPU because I have occasionally seen that you change something on the CPU. (I think that was the case in the patch from February or March) I play on a public server that has otherwise left everything as it is with the exception of CPU and weight + more enemies appear. And for the Legecy issue. Well, the ships can NOT be the same because there are no more alien containers in there
Ultra Rare Alien Container. At the end you have 20 Epic Weapons. Ultra Rare should have higher Chance for other loot than just Hand Weapons.
And for Abandoned POIs, as far as i know, you get 2 Quantum Processors every time. That's fair for Depot or Reactor, but the bigger ones maybe should give you 3-4?
Also Explorations Sites:
Digits are harder to fail and you cant use Hacking Software, you only get one Box with 1-2 Data Chips.
Switch are easier and you can use Hacking Software, you get two Boxes so 3-4 Data Chips.
And Exploration Site Supply Caches (dont have done normal ones from Polaris), you get 90% Ore loot. That's okay in terms of value, but not Lore wise. There should be more goods in.
Ah yeah so your server has changed things and you're also playing without CPU. Neither are able to be supported by us, for precisely this reason.
You'd need to talk to your server admin as they have full control over this stuff. You're not really getting the actual RE2 experience as intended by us, you're getting an experience created by someone else and it's impossible for us to know what all they changed or if they made any mistakes merging scenario updates so we can't really help or use any feedback as you're no longer playing RE2 but something else.
Your server admin can change all of that though, so like I said you can speak to them and see if they can make some changes for you.
So the fact that there are more enemies and the CPU is off doesn't change the fact that there isn't a particularly large selection of smaller space enemies.
However like I said yes the fact that you're playing without CPU and using modified scenario configs does mean you're no longer playing RE2 and we cannot really help you out or make changes based on your feedback as you're no longer playing RE2 as it's delivered by us in the workshop.
As I said I don't hate everything about your mod there are just some things that are just really hm... too bad they weren't taken over from RE1. The abandoned ground stations and the new ones are mega cool and the boss thing is great. And I hope the Tesch robots look a bit better soon their design is a bit immature^^ The "overlord" station was also cool to raid maybe the entry could be a bit bigger so you can raid this Thing better with a small Hovertank :)
But there are just a few things missing, which is why I'm currently playing on an RE1 server with CPU, because everything is well balanced and you get better rewards when you take on stronger opponents. Also that so many auto-firing guns have been taken away from SV. I mean, of course the weapons for the front have been put more in the spotlight. And again to the point of the Legecys that there 50% of the damage goes through shield is way too much. 35% might be better but what do I know.
There is nothing else in the game that can drop from an ultra rare container that wouldn't detract purpose from elsewhere in the game.
In RE1 ultra rare containers (like vanilla) dropped a couple of medkits, gold ingots and other similarly useless items.
I'm fine with the "other loot", Weapons are far to often in Ultra Rare Containers. But maybe, they have the same chance and i had just bad RNG?
In my experience, i start a game, do some Abandoned POIs and allways end up with ~20 or more Epic/Legendary Weapons.
