If you destroyed the POI with the destroy command then it's gone gone and cannot be regenerated.
You now have 2 options:
1: Wipe the POIs on the planet with the wipe command. type help wipe to see details of how to use it. ONLY use it if you know what you are actually doing as misusing commands can corrupt your save. Wiping the POIs will reset ALL POIs back to their original states and remove any player structures near a POI so make sure you have nothing near a POI before doing that command.
Make sure you wipe the POIs and not do a full wipe, as a full wipe also removes all player structures from the planet.
Use at your own risk.
2: Travel to another RG mission starting planet (Roggery, Omicron, or Ningues) and find the POI there and continue the mission.
In the future please seek help here first before turning to google, as google will often have outdated, misleading, or completely wrong answers in the search results.
Trying this on a back up now, thank you so much!
You are a life saver! It worked!
