While I'm here I'd like to point out another minor bugbear - any weapon or item that has multiple placement options doesn't give you the same numerical information as ones with fixed placements. It makes it difficult to know (for example) how much space a shield extender will take up, or the damage numbers for certain weapons.
I’ll second both points are mildly annoying in game. I’ve found Empirion buddy helps. It lists out stats for multi-placement and I think has the same text as the game which makes it easier to read (doesn’t get cutoff).
