Running trade routes selling an item bought cheaply in one system and sold well in another is the fastest way, otherwise it's selling the loot from poi's if you can find a vendor for all the things.
edit, thought it was more, but its closer to 200 - 250k/stack, still decent bank for a couple neo asteroids to get you started
any idea how to find polaris refining station, i'm still in starting system and dont have enoguh materials (espacially bridges and matrixes) to build a starter CV, so i wonder are the polaris refining station exist in starting system?
That being said, if you are still in the starting system, best bet is just hit the POIs; abandoned are not usually armed with anything heavier than sentry turrets so can be taken on relatively early on and are a small source of credits and some exotic materials that cant usually be found naturally in the starting planet or system. Large amounts of credits aren't really needed before you get in to the wider galaxy, and even then "need" is definitely subject to play style.
If you're stuck on bridges and matrices there are several core-1 starters on the workshop that can get you warp capable on a single core (no bridges or matrices/gold required) - may of them easily upgradable to grow with you through to the mid-game.
