Some questions and feedback
First of all: a big thanks to the creators of this scenario. They did a pretty good job!

I'm a veteran player of EGS. Bought the game in 2016 and played from time to time
with longer breaks in between.

Coming back after a long break this spring and tried vanilla again and then discovered RE2.
A lot of changes regarding weapons, armor, hit points feel reasonable.

Started on Pandora and was happy about the improved graphics of the environment.
Also the ability to put many devices on a SV that are only available for CV or HV in
vanilla are big change for QoL (food processor, medical, mechanical drill,...).

The difficulty was a bit hard in the beginning. Hot temperature, poisonous spiders,
raptors and especially the controllers, if you still have only light armour.

Question one: the scanner does not find any POIs on Pandora (only resources). By accident
I found a "Chichen Itza" kind of pyramid full of spiders. In the jungle with tall trees
it's next impossible to find such a thing visually while flying/scanning the planet.
Is this intentional or a bug? There should be an easier way to find such POIs.

Then a gave the Dread planet start a try. Looked hard in the beginning, but after getting
a hover bike and a "Multi Tool" it starts to get easy. Much easier than Pandora IMHO.
It's only time consuming to find the abandoned POIs for scavenging. The greatest threat was
that the provided oxygen bottles did not suffice. Then I discovered water pools and after buildinga water collector this threat was also gone. This start was one of the best I every had,
because every tiny bit you find in the beginning gives you a rewarding feeling, that another
step is being made to escape the threat of death.

There seems to be the same issue with the scanner: while there are maybe 50+ POIs to be found, only ~5 cause a signature on the scanner.
Intentional or a bug?

I'm asking myself, if the dread planet scenario is suitable for a multiplayer game.
Because renewing POIs cannot be cored by the player. While POIs do not play such a big
role in other staring scenarios, they are super important in this one. Usually you will try to core one of the abandoned buildings and build a base out of that. If one player
razed the POIs (or looted and salvaged the valuable items) a second player will have
a very hard time...

Yes on the dead planets and jungle planets it's intended that the detector can only find some POIs. Being more difficult to find them is part of the challenge of those planets.

For MP, you can still salvage POIs if regeneration is enabled. I never really had a problem.
