I wouldn't build a base until you have progressed to maybe level 10. First build a very basic HV with a constructor gather materials until you can build a starter SV and upgrade it until you can defend against drones and dropships. There is a damaged former Zirax base forget the name which is not to hard to capture some spiders and zombies with 3 underground levels that have lots of storage boxes and constructors, its a good place to start a first base which you can defend with your sv until you get some miniguns installed. Once you progress until you have enough armor and maybe some epic weapons from taking on the weaker enemy bases and you can take out the drone base to eliminate all attacks you can build whatever you want with maybe a few sentry guns to take out predators.

thanks but i'm playing offline and i already proceed to 25 lvl and had so much travel around systems with my low shield and very lightly armed (a few turrets for drones) CV. i hate mass and volume system so i turned off that in settings. thats why i carry all my stuff with my relatively small CV and i also disable auto miner depletion and auto mined tons of rare resources so i dont need any ores (palladium platinum tungsten etc mined a lot). i wanna build a base and put a furnace on it for smelting some platinum palladium etc and start to explore RE2 new contents (quests pois weapons etc), i just collect resources in safest way and avoid fighting all time for now but i think i'm ready to start enjoying RE2 contents. so i just wanna ask where is chillest location i dont want to be attacked by annoying drones its boring at the moment, if there is any way or any location to build a base thats not been attacked, i want to know.

While you are already past this point, if you want to build a base that will never be attacked I would suggest using the Pandora planet as a starting location. There are no other technically advanced races on that planet, also plenty of ores and resources. At least the basic ones. There are a few wild creatures that you will need to watch your back on, but none will every attack you base. If you are already at (and thus above) level 25, you might consider finding Pandora in the starting systems. Other wise, planet side building, find a nice looking planet that appeals to your since of beauty usually outside any faction territories (likely around a K,A,G, or M class star system) where few or any other factions have setup shop. If you are friendly with all, or most, other factions, you shouldn't have to worry about getting attacked most anywhere you decide to build. Some factions will never get friendly to you, like the legacy or drone space factions so just don't build any bases in their territories :-).

sry but my english a bit weak so i cant properly understand you, is Pandora a planet or a sector? also if i build a base for example on a planet in colonists territory and if there is no zirax and pirates (my rep is hostile against those) factions claimed zones, there will be no attack to my base?
