it seems that the dragons will not mine even when they have a pickaxe in there hand at least the nightwings wont and it seems like there is no role for doctor or most of the normal noble roles but im not sure if that is intended or not also for the opening dialog when you start a fort you missed one part where it still says dwarves and not nightwings but other than that cool mod and cannot wait to try and build a fort with them

Additional roles need to be added. Are the places you're trying to mine accessible by foot? Unfortunately, the pathfinding in DF only calculates for foot travel before starting a job, so if the Nightwings have to fly to reach the mining spot, they won't dig :(

it is accesible but ill double check it once i get on and update you and also how would additional roles be added in game or is it a mod thing?

it also seems that some tribe is causing an issue to where its crops cant spawn and is making an endless reject cycle and im not sure what is causing it and the tiles i was trying to mine were accessable by foot though i was trying to test in a new world

so mining now works and it seems the world gen bug fixed itself though im not sure if it is still there ill keep you updated on any bugs i find as i try a playthrough

Yeah, it seems as though things get stuck in their claws when they pick them up. I've been comparing how I set up the claws vs. how dwarven hands function to try to fix this

well I don't know how you set it up in the mod which causes it to become a conflict. A guess is that the game might read it as them holing a weapon? Maybe the "claws" can be like normal hands but have more unarmed damage or something?

iirc having [CURIOUSBEAST_ITEM] on creature used for fort mode can beaks things, esp. when it comes to getting equipment, hauling, and warnings about thefts when they leave the map

Not entirely sure if it's an incident related to every tribe, but I am playing a group of Sandwings and it seems that they are unable to cut down trees, even though I have several woodcutters...

do you have battle axes because those are needed to cut trees

Oh, no, I replaced those with spears... Never mind, it was just me being dumb in the planner...

Though, I did see a lot of my Sandwings dropping items off in trees, rather than available stockpiles...

yeah that happened to me i jsut had to cut down the trees which was super annoying but i think it has something to do with flying as when they land the game thinks there fighting
