Maybe it has to be like the direct hit but instead of mid air crits it should be like the backscatter. but minicrit.

Could heavies be cut in half since there is already a halved heavy model?

All of a sudden people want it to be a weapon with insta kill ... if you really want that make it have a custom taunt kill since that is the only thing (other then the weapons soldiers and demos can duel with) i mean if it was crits do instant kills and have a less crit chance well that wont work since some weapons will for some reason gain a higher crit chance, 5 kill streak lets you get crit instant kill ... so it is only useful with killstreak weapons ....and if you had it like the backscatter why not just use the backscatter. The best thing for instant kill is a taunt kill. simple and fair

Scout could perform a taunt where he uses the Batsaber as a a sword, and this could be a taunt kill. Or it could destroy Sappers. OR you could give him some sort of extra range (of course by killing people with it..)
