Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Halo 4 Genesong Cut
general feedback
Just finished this, overall a pretty good experience (9/10) but I do have a few points of criticism.

Most of my issues are with the weapon changes, though these are all pretty minor.
- Since you removed the DMR I think the BR should have had a higher magnification scope
- The suppressor's rate of fire ramping up as you hold down the trigger is neat but it makes it kinda pointless to do anything but magdump with it, I think the rate of fire should stay maxed out if you only stop firing for a short time, like the machine gun turret in H3
- The SAW absolutely shouldn't have had its magazine capacity and rate of fire cut in half, it felt more like a bigger, slower version of the assault rifle than the LMG it's meant to be.
- The H5-style Hannibal Mantis was a cool idea, but it feels a little half baked. The gun is definitely powerful but it looks and sounds really weak so it's not as fun to use. Maybe you could have used the railgun's projectile and sound effects. The missile launcher still being the normal H4 missile launcher doesn't help either. Since you already brought the plasma launcher back into the game, maybe you could have also used the plasma launcher's projectile and sound effects as well. in place of the missiles, to better fit the Hannibal theme? I don't know how modding H4 works so I have no idea if that's possible without also changing how the weapons perform, though.

My only big issue is with the changes to the ending. The Didact boss fight was honestly less satisfying than the QTE ending of the original. It wasn't very difficult and didn't last very long (tho tbf I played the whole mod on normal difficulty). If you're still planning on working on this mod some more I think it'd be cool to see an extended reworked version of the Didact fight that also integrates the original QTE sequence. Maybe it should happen earlier, so when you destroy his vehicle he teleports to the hardlight bridge, forcing the player to chase him, and then from there the original ending plays as normal.
