I've tried not doing anything after the game hits the market, no research, game report, nothing. And yet, still happens 90% of the time. So there's no reward, but the risk for selling DLC still exists because I can easily lost a huge percentage of my fans.
Just download it yourself if you don't believe them. People don't need to "prove" a random internet warning. I'm curious to see who ever posted a fake "this doesn't work" because as far as I know. That's never happened. As for my experience. The mod worked for the first couple of years. But after I rejected the DLC's a handful of times, the menu just stopped appearing all together and eventually I started getting random error reports until I had to restart my game without the mod installed.
