In just 40 years, Unn was nagged by 7 different home wars, each more devastating than the last. After significant international intervention, a tame, regulated government was put into place, enabling relative political stability to ensue.
Despite their best efforts to get the country back on its tracks, after many years of resurgent civil wars, Unn came to be a seriously impoverished, borderline 3rd-world state. In comparison to other countries on the Sarrine plateau, it was noticeably behind the rest, both in terms of social and technological development. Unsatisfied by the dire economy at hand, opposition auguring to replace current rule arose. Despite certain differences in vision, these parties would be separated into two primary camps: the socialist left, which intended to implement worker-friendly policies, and the corporate right, which willed to create an environment that'd encourage private enterprise.
Year by year, month by month, as national budget worsened, it began to become clear to more and more people that certain changes must be carried out. And, according to traditional Unnick reasoning, those changes must've been carried out through force. In the heat of fierce debates and political disputes between the two revolutionary camps, focus shifted from emplacing a new rule to fighting off the opposite entity. Each camp formed its own, specialized paramilitary organization that'd be responsible for fighting off the other's. This was the final spark in the bonfire that would be the 8th Unnick civil war.

Jalider Yer Zawdef Astomdai Alditei (Worker and Battle Leading Group), named after a family of large, predatory bats domestic to the plateau, the Eluckers are the left's fighting force. Comprised mostly from workers, or even veterans at times, who were promised increased leisure for their class by their party. Much of their style of command, preferred equipment and strategy is derived from the fabled international “””peacekeeping””” organization; IBER, which assisted rebel forces in countering the despotic dictatorial rule present during the 7th civil war. Equipped, trained and funded by superpowers from the Far West that seek to set up a democratic Unn into a military proxy.

Cassoier Jastodai Folumei (Combat Execution Company), named after a specie of ferocious omnivorous reptiles home to Unnick lands, is the right's right hand. Primarily holding employees and mercenaries sent by corporations willing to use Unn's cheap real estate as an exploitable potential. Readied by Far East PMCs and oligarchs, their arsenal is dominated by gear from that front. Considerably more blunt in attitude and much less hesitant in comparison to the Eluckers.
