I wanted to make this post cuz ive seen some people complain abit about the weapon and though why not give my opinion too?

Being honest i think the balance right now is great.
I am currently doing a murasama ONLY, calamity master death mode. Other than the wall of flesh i havent struggled much and been having a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blast. Honestly the most fun ive ever had with terraria. I think the current balance of the weapon is just perfect so far.

That said i would advocate a better progression on the damage scaling when beating bosses. I do not know if its a limitation. But it feels kinda lame to beat a boss and get no upgrades. Like you beat the slime god and nothing happens weapon wise, still the same, just a "go beat the wall now, good luck!"

Now do not get me wrong i do not think this is bad. I just would have liked if i had a bit of an upgrade, even 15 more damage would have made me feel that dophamine rush lol.

Same thing happens with first bosses of hard mode and even after beating the destroyer, weapon still at the same damage and i am finding the twins extremely hard so far. I probably need some more time to understand the new patterns... But good god, if trial 6 does not end after twins i can see myself struggling HARD versus that wild skeltron lol.

Anyway, thank you dev/devs, you doing gods work here. appreciate it a lot!

This is indeed an issue. In the 0.6 update, sub-trials were introduced for balance reasons, which is why you see things like "Trial: 6-1" to prevent players from skipping major stages and disrupting the game experience. However, we overlooked the need for small numerical adjustments or changes between sub-stages, which can lead to player frustration. Thank you for your suggestion! This will be improved in the next update.
