Version 1.5.0 Patch Overview
This patch introduces a new interaction, new interaction features, rebalances existing interactions, and improves localization.



New Features
  • Added new 'Petition Ransom' Interaction, which functions similarly to the vanilla ransom interaction but can target anyone.
    • The previously disabled Opinion Modifiers from the vanilla ransom interaction have been re-enabled.
    • This interaction will dynamically calculate gold and can be declined by the recipient.
    • This is a Player only interaction. The AI does not benefit from this.
  • Added an 'Important Action' for interactions.
    • This notifies players when imprisoned war participants or primary title claimants can be demanded or offered.

Changes
  • Moved the interaction category from 'Diplomacy' to 'Prison'.
  • Replaced the interaction icon from 'Prison' to 'Gold'.
  • Interactions can now be sent despite rejection.
  • Added a positive greeting tone in interactions.
  • Gold options now always start enabled when triggered directly or from important actions.
  • Strong claims against a target's primary title are now considered high value.

Adjustments
  • Dread Opinion Modifier now adds full value if you are the direct liege and half for everyone else (previously only half for everyone).
    • From 25 (Old) → 50 Direct Liege or Above / 25 Not (New) [Intimidated]
    • From 50 (Old) → 100 Direct Liege or Above / 50 Not (New) [Cowed]
  • Relation Opinion Modifier 'has_relation_nemesis' trigger multiplier.
    • From 2 (Old) → 6 (New)
  • Removed Government Opinion Modifier.
  • Removed Culture Opinion Modifier.
  • Removed 'Arbitrary' and 'Deceitful' Traits in the 'Given Me Away' Opinion penalty exemption.
  • Revised Interaction Options:
    • Weak Hook can now be used against non-direct vassals — now grants additional opinions.
  • Revised Interaction Options:
    • Removed the cap from stacked Hook Opinion Modifiers and Gold Opinion Modifiers.
  • Revised Interaction Options:
    • Increased Barter Cost Value from Base 0.8 (Old) → Base 1.5 (New)
      *This is to better incentivize prisoner trading rather than ransoming.

Calculation:
( ( ( Gold Offered Amount / Evaluated Prisoner Value ) - 1 ) * 100 ) + Hook Amount

Improvements
  • Fixed Personality Opinion Modifier incorrectly calculating its values.
  • Fixed Tier Opinion Modifier incorrectly calculating its values.
  • Implemented a flag to prevent concurrency issues with other hostile interactions towards characters.
  • Refactored prisoner validity triggers.
  • Refactored prisoner scripted effects.
  • Integrated dynasty perk trigger into script values instead of being within the interaction.
  • Rewritten and added new localization.
  • Improved debug logging.

Mod Support
  • Added placeholder rescue and vengeance tooltip warnings and other mod support features.
