It's not close to identical, try to look at them side by side. The howl valve made looks like a animal skull tbh and at first i thought it was a dragon. The one i created is a "wolf" with the same "tribal" style as the one valve created. And no, the version valve made doesnt look pretty much like the original.

I agree with floffypus. I remember the original (copyright) howl, it looked awesome. Valves version looks no where near as good.

They are almost identical except for the fact that the newer one has the Wolf more orange colored.

If you would look at them without whining about your own stupidity and ignorance, you would see they are nowhere close to being identical. And there is thousands of skins identical to other skins so deal with it.

I did look at them, I never whined about my so called lack of intelligence, and there are not 1000 skins in this game.

lel, this looks similar but in no way does it look anything identical. If anything, this should be added.

I have to agree with you, sadly. I think this skin looks great, but it sure reminds you a lot of the Howl. And I don't know why people say that the old and new Howl doesn't look alike. Some golden colour is pretty much all they changed.

Sure they have pretty much the same camo, many of the same colors. But if you put that aside and look at the actual wolf. They are so different, the one valve made looks like a dragon and as far as i can tell is a animal skull. The original is clearly a wolf's head and isn't made with a tribal style. Sorry to say it but everyone that thinks the original and the replacement skin looks identical are as close to blind as one gets. I'm a educated designer and i would never say they are close to identical!

Well shucks, if all I have to do to get my skin in the game is change some colors around and change the animal design a bit while keeping about 60-70 percent of the original design there, then I oughta get to work now! Perhaps I could make it yellow, and change it to a dinosaur skull.
