Map Design - Freelancer - Sirus Sector
I'm a huge fan of Microsofts Freelancer Space Sim and so Space Engineers has always been an excellent sandbox for my dreams to come true, I'm sure others as well.

I'm thinking I should make a large world that would support all systems in the Sirus sector and combine them into one game. I would have to build each world and station by hand and the Trade lanes would work with Artifical Mass blocks built into the ships. The Jump gates would be a little tricky but always accepting any ideas on how these could work, maybe a teleporting mod? Keep in mind I would like to keep the map as vanilla as possible.

Give me your thoughts while I try and figure out how I'm going to place each trading post, station, planet etc.

Maybe you should check on the Stargate mod, i haven't tried it yet, but the gates work like a teleporter.

This map idea has been put on hold since the exploration Mode was announced, however the stargate workshop has been considered as a form of Trade Lane for this idea :D

Speaking of jump gate, at this very moment, me and a friend are experimenting with gravitational jump gates that can instantly accelerate ships using artificial mass, we are about to make our first test.
