That's odd. I'll see if I can recreate this problem.
Sorry, demnkattbb6, but I wasn't able to get the same results on my side. There's nothing inside the building that should be drawing npc gunfire by default.
Is it possible you have an addon that is causing your npcs to shoot at certain entities, like the breakable windows on the second level of the warehouse?
-Strange shadows (I guess because the lights are off by start so it doesn't really do the ray trace stuff)
-Overbright HDR and Spotlight beams (on the huge lamps)
-Some invisible areas around the doors (area portal related?)
-Lack of ambient sounds
-Some Doors opening right in my face (not a bug but quality of life)
Otherwise, I really like the map, the huge open dry sand-ocean, the peaceful blue sky, it has that feeling idk how to describe
Hey, this is the bug reporting I like to see!
One by one:
-I tried to fix the shadows. I made sure the lightmap grid was aligned, and I've set up shading groups where I could, but I couldn't get some of the bizarre lighting to go away. It's definitely because of the switchable lights, I'm not really sure what to do about them. I might play with some different lighting configurations to see if I can work around it.
-There is a tonemap controller that turns the bloom scale down, but I'll turn it down a little more. I agree, it's still pretty overblown.
-I tried to tone the light down for the spotlight beams, but the "flare" on the point_spotlight entity doesn't seem to respect the render fx keyvalue, while the beams themselves do. I might replace the whole thing with a purpose-built mesh with an additive material.
-I have quite a few areaportals around, so it's possible I overlooked somewhere they're closed or extending into a visible area. I'll add you to follow up on this.
-Sounds are "on the list", but I wanted to write some custom soundscapes for them, so it's more of a polish for later.
-A lot of the doors only open one direction to sidestep some weird lighting they get in one of the open directions or because of specific geometry. I'll ease up on these a little where I can.
Thanks for the comprehensive list, I'll be working on these.
