There's some weird mod interactions that lead to provinces with Ahl Al-Bayt dotted across Denmark and Central Europe. In East Asia, it's even worse: Japan and Manchuria are entirely made up of this faith. It doesn't affect the religions of characters, just of provinces.

But on the other hand whatever it does actually fixes the problem with random characters wearing turbans who shouldn't be.

Did you use other mods? I believe i dont see any ahl bayt provinces

Well yes the Japan And Manchuria is Intended to be Flavorful with variety of religion that i research. In Japan they mostly shinto but the provinces is mixing with faith specially the Shugendo one

@vincentgareu ahl bayt its meaning that error of that province which its religion id didnt found you should load ME before MB+ which must be in the last of load order before my mod

That's the thing: I did that. And I have ~70-80 active mods. Also, the Ahl Al-Bayt provinces disappear when I disable this mod. I've determined that the conflict doesn't come from this mod having issues with ME or Polytheism Reborn. It's also possible that RoA is to blame. I have all the RoA compatches for my mods because MB+ includes RoA content. I'm looking into that possibility right now.

I'll also test for bookmarks other than 769 (the only one I've checked up to this point) while I'm at it

just disable Polytheism reborn my mod have all their paganism, RoA its fine i use that

769 still has the bugged local faiths even without the RoA compatches, and so does 1066. I forgot to mention that some of the Buddhist faiths appear in some weird spots to a lesser extent. In the 1066 bookmark, there are exactly 3 Buddhist counties in Europe: Mahayan in Muaidhe, Vajrayana in Strathnaver, and one I can't make out in Faucigny.

@vincentgareu maybe some of your mods replacing some faith in current location mine is fine tbh maybe you should list what mod you used and its load order

Mods that possibly affect location faith (in load order): Unofficial Patch, VIET, MPE, Historic Invasions (followed immediately by its compatch for RoA), More German Kingdoms (the bug still occurs with this one disabled, Norman Flavor Pack, More Regional Innovations, Travelers, Slightly More Interesting Crimea, A Fix for the DLC "Legends of the Dead" [sic], Rebalance+, Baptism of Rus, Balkan Flavour Mod, COW3, ME, RICE, EPE, CFP+EPE, Unit Packs Expanded, TCT, CE, AI Culture Conversion, RICE+EPE, RoA+CFP+EPE, PoW, Travelers+PoW, Immersive Realm Espionage, Unified UI, MB+, MPE-MBPlus, AI Culture Conversion - Fallen Eagle/MB+, MB+CE, MB+EPE+CFP, MB+TCT, Gamerule Gadget, Foundational Framework, A Special World, this mod, and Better Barbershop.

The only weird thing is that both the far northeast of the map as well as patches of Germany/Denmark have it. Why both? Is there a mod that deals with both? Is it two mods causing the problem?
