Berry bushes give armory ideas, can be interesting to merge with strict mode.
Just started this seed, will update if there's more interesting stuff.
Made it to moon 14 before I died to a horde of slimes that came out a portal on moon 12 iirc. I don't remember how I got a 2nd villager but I got it early (moon 3/4). Got poisoned by the poop slime on about moon 8 but my villagers had high health + eating every night and were able to stay alive but I knew I needed charcoal but couldn't find it.
I was keeping track of what made what so here's some of my list:
Crafting a coin chest = house
Putting a villager on wood = milkshake
2 villagers + house = iron bar
Mountain location = tomato
So it was easy to make some money (sell the iron bar, sell the excess milkshakes etc).
Some of the cheap booster packs gave stuff like fire cloak, wolf head, cane sugar iirc so combat wasn't too bad and food wasn't hard to come by. If I didn't get poisoned I would have been more optimistic about the run and tried harder to survive the final fight at the end.
I defo think doing long moons is better especially for the early game where you need to find food ASAP. I died moon 1-3 on my first 5 attempts because I couldn't get food at all or enough food to keep living day after day.
thx for sharing you both!
