To be honest.
The sticker looks great! But there's one main thing that would get in the way for this to come out with the next community sticker capsule, the fact that it is so connected to the WarOwl player and youtube channel. It's like a indirect advertisement.

You can also look at the previous items WarOwl has uploaded to the workshop, where the skins/stickers are clearly labelled with or connected to the youtube channel itself.

Would CS:GO be more connected to either owls or wars, it would be much easier for a sticker like this to pass as something that's not product placement.

There are direct advertisement stickers already. Also, if the people want it, then there should be no problems anyways. WarOwl already has a say on the balance issues on the game and he did do a lot of the testing during beta. This is a way to give him some acknowledgement :)

M4A1 Atomic Alloy and the P90 Trigon are advertising FaceIT too.

FaceIT is used for play. This sticker is WarOwl Advertisment. WarOwl is just a single YT channel who wants cheap advertisment and some extra sticker cash

There is no way this is getting into the game, regardless of how many likes it has .. it's direct advertisement .. unless Valve changes their stance on this ; which i doubt they will because once they accept one they'll have to consider all of them. So yeah, this isn't getting into the game. I'll be really shocked if it does.

look its pretty simple, online games have a community, no need a community to even exist and with youtube and twitch being the central heart of the community it is wrong just to ignore these people. the sticker is a picture of an owl the only connection it has to war owl is that its his. there is no advertising here otherwise you could claim that any sticker is an advertisment for someone in the world. WE NEED TO AKNOWLEDGE THE COMMUNITY these people know what the players want and they give it to us and we turn it down, wrong just wrong.

this isnt going into the game,i would like it to go into the game but it wont,summit tried to get a sticker allready and they said it was advertisement,this one will be the same

What exactly is the doge sticker advertising , the only reason it wasn't claimed for copyright infringement is because nobody owns the rights to .. hence no one gains from it being advertised ..


And Atomic Alloy and Trigon are not advertising Faceit .. what the hell honestly.

I don't get what you're saying. TheWarOwl has done more than enough for the CS:GO community to deserve a sticker. Valve would be stupid to not support someone like him.
