I don't think it actually works, maybe a power boost for things like piercing blood? Since that's how he powers them up in the show?

1. flowing red scales:
gives 2x power boost for all moves. makes line across his nose more red and also adds 2 lines across his eyes

2. flowing red scales stack:
gives 4x power boos for all moves. makes line across his nose even more red and adds arrows to it and same for the ones across his eyes
