Team Fortress 2

Team Fortress 2

The Meteor Shower
Stats that I like, comment if agree/disagree
How about (because of its name):

Pros:
+35% increased damage EDIT: I'm going to change this to something better when I get a bit more feedback.
Cons:
All random crits turn into mini-crits
Cannot be crit boosted
-25% less accurate (Akin to Beggar's Bazooka effect)
Misc:
Fires team colored tracer rounds, akin to a rapid fire Machina.
As long as your enemy is being hit, they're on fire (akin to shooting a flare at a Pyro for time on fire)
No afterburn damage (from above effect)

The point was to say "They won't catch on fire". The fire mechanics in game (I don't think) scale with normal damage boosts, but I'm not sure.

Not exactly sure how the less accuracy thing works with this.
Do you mean like the rocket deviation with Beggar's Bazooka, or like wider spread?

I like that idea, but maybe 35% is alittle to much?

It's like an upgraded Brass Beast, except the downsides aren't as bad...

I love the idea, but perhaps a 15% damage boost would work better.

Maybe you should make it where it is 25% damage but when you kill someone the damage increases by 5%

By this I mean more like the Beggar's, thank you for bringing up that point.

That is a good idea... How does something like starting at a -X% going up to max +30-40% sound? I'm trying to get better ideas in here.

fire is a type of damage that is dealt. afterburn is a seperate effect. this is why a pyro can damage another pyro with the flamethrower but not have him catch fire

honestly I feel he's right. It should be 25% or 20%, give it a cool effect like the bullets have a model and not that line, maybe like a minature meteor!

I was thinking of using an idea of his in my final idea, but thanks. Also, it would be much easier for Valve just to make trails than to make a new model for projectiles.

+25% Damage against burning players
+25% resistance to bullets
+80% damage to self
+25% fall damage to user
+10% damage but when you kill someone the damage increases by 5%
+15% chance to burn
Fire projectiles

To much stats....

I think the projectiles should travel faster (maybe they have rockets on them) and be less accurate and they have a mini detonation like a blast radius upon impact with less damage.
