First of all, it always occurs to me when performing an action that involves a chain of actions. For example (when I put up a barricade) I have to move the hammer, nails, and wood (they change in the inventory) or when creating a spear (I didn't know I would do the same thing because I had the knife in a bag, I just changed its container and did it). Just to give two examples.
