Automated Inventory Sorting
mod duping items
when joined in my friends game if i drag stuff from a components container to a ore and ingot container it moves it back to the right container but the amount gets doubled i do not have a log because i dont know how to get one my pc is pretty laggy so it could be the game ive had an issue before in another friends game that if i shift clicked items from inventorys to mine and the other way around it somethimes changed for example the 60 plates that where in the inventory into 100 plates this was however not with this mod installed so it could also be lag related even though the pc of my friend has a nvidea gforce gtx 780 and an i7

I will look into this issue soon. Multiplayer sorting appears to be broken. It's hard debugging multiplayer currently.

I had duping happening yesterday aswell. Happened on newly created stuff from Assemblers that got sorted into a Large Container. Also happened occasionally when moving items around containers but was unable to get this reproduced everytime.

Please test duping in latest version. If things are still duping, please tell me what steps you take to make it happen. Please note there is a bug in the game, that will duplicate inventory even without my mod. So if your steps to reproduce the problem involve manually moving an inventory item, this may be the cause of the duplicating.

i know ive had it myself but thought it was because of my crappy pc but this was different i dragged the item into the ores, ignots container and a second later it gets sorted to the right container but in the second it is in the ores, ignots container its still the same amount it gets doubled in the process of transporting to the components container this is what happened i dragg 1 reactor component to the ores, ignots container the only reactor component we had atm to test the sorting then it comes back as 2 in the components container after a coupe more trys it becomes 4 then 8 then 16 then i knew for sure something didnt work correctly

also a few things
1. when i excepted uranium in my ores, ignots container so it wouldt pull it to there anymore it still did pull it to there
2. iron plates get pulled to the ores, ignots container
3. the ignots container doesnt pull out ignots out of the assemblers when they are ready with the ignots thats one of the reasons we installed this mod because the assemblers pull 80k of iron ignots to them even when they dont even need more then 2 ignots and then the the other assemblers cant get iron because its all in the one assembler and i dont want to manually transfer everything everytime

1. Can you be more precise on what you mean? Like posting your container names e.g.?
2. Same as before, post your name you use on the container.
3. Do not put 50000 production of anything into an Assembler at once, do not use the conveyer link, do use something like:
[Ingot:P1:50,Ingot/Cobalt:P1:300,Ingot/Nickel:P1:200,Ingot/Iron:P1:1000,Ingot/Uranium:Ignore]
That way you will always have enough Ingots to produce ANY of the currently available vanilla items.

1 container name was [ores, ingots, uranium:ignore] and still it pulled uranium to it from the refinery to then imediatly pull it to the reactors so if im refining uranium its really hard pulling out a specific ore manually because everything keeps moving every 0,5 seconds because the uranium that gets refined gets in and emediatly gets pulled out
2 the container named [ores, ingots] also pulls iron plates to it even though thats deffinitly a component
3 this solution i dont get i mean that when i request one component in one of my assemblers it automaticly pulls out 80k iron ingots out of the ingots container this is just using conveyors connected to each other its not done by using a function in this mod thats what i want to do with this mod
a assemblers can pull out of other assemblers when short of materials
b assemblers only pull small amounts of ingots when needed untill they need more
c the ingots get put back in the ingots container after the assembler is done
one of these solutions i was hoping to be able to do just so assemblers wouldt automaticly take all the iron even though i only ordered 1 steel plate

LOL leave number three i just read the patch notes after typing that and assemblers can now take from other assemblers problem solved

also tyrsis when do you think the duping bug will be fixed

1. [Ore,Ingot,Ingot/Uranium:Ignore] try this on the containers that pull your uranium ingots
2. [Ore,Ingot] try this and see if it still pulls Iron Plates, do not use something like [iron] as this might pull iron plates
3. the name i posted above does exactly that, it just puts a certain amount of items into the assemblers that are needed to craft anything
3.a Shared Assemblers can be enabled since the latest game patch!
3.b Assemblers will try to pull all they need due to the conveyer system trying to fulfill COMPLETE REQUIREMENT at once -> try making smaller production queues and use the loop feature on the assemblers (instead of putting 5000x Iron Plates put 1x Iron Plate and activate repeat function)
3.c Items will not be put back into containers after jobs finished. This has either be made through the game itself or the mod would need to do totaly different things -> not gonna happen i guess

Like i mentioned already, use this name for your Assemblers and you should have no issues with materials on them:
[Ingot:P1:50,Ingot/Cobalt:P1:300,Ingot/Nickel:P1:200,Ingot/Iron:P1:1000,Ingot/Uranium:Ignore]

Duping seems to be fixed since 2 days already.. i haven't noticed any more dupes happening.
PlainThunderNL 17 Oct, 2014 @ 5:31am
okay autositz with the a,band c i meant possible options they all have the same output and just a minute after the post i read the update and the new option for assemblers fixed the problem
PlainThunderNL 17 Oct, 2014 @ 5:33am
2 that is literaly the name of the container
PlainThunderNL 17 Oct, 2014 @ 5:35am
actually my fault when the plates get assembled they get putt in the [ore, ingot] container but this is probably because the assembler has 2k steel plates and putts it away it doesnt get pulled from other containers
PlainThunderNL 17 Oct, 2014 @ 5:36am
but thanks you helped a lot
Autositz 17 Oct, 2014 @ 5:37am
Yes, when an Assembler is full in its outpot storage and has the converyer system enabled the Assembler tries to push out it's content to any linked cargo container.
