7zip is better then winrar
its free and offers an easier, stress free experience when working with files

totally agree, 7zip is easy, free and beautiful, winrar is annoying with its attempts to get me to buy it
p.s. winrar model from workshop is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, 70 MB of pure pain

winzip also sounds like a good tool and winzip standard is less expensive then winrar
