The Tunguska Experiment refers to the recent experiment of a new shipbuilding technique utilized at the Hamilton Shipyards (Sector 205). By utilizing the new technique dubbed the 'Origami Memory Galvanized Alloy Welding Design', or O.M.G.A.W.D. for short, a prototype based on the original 'Tunguska' is now available in limited supply.

The O.M.G.A.W.D. technique allows for doubling the cargo space and speed, and twice the weaponry, at 1/3rd the cost. Plus, they have managed to squeeze a cloak on board. You can see why incredulous mining magnates would be cursing "O.M.G.A.W.D., I can't even right now."

This ship doesn't come without it's problems however. The cloak's base is low, making evasion of pirates tricky without some sort of enhancement. The crew complement has also been drastically reduced down to 10. Hey that extra cargo had to be stored somewhere right?

All-in-all though, the increased speed and cargo space, the addition of a cloak, and half the cost is a strong lure for the budding new trader.

The station also boasts the availability of mining lasers for purchase, or for the thrifty folk among you... spring extra for the [discounted] surplus Warlock 3 Beam weapons. Only available at this price at this station!

The station mining guild members would also like you to be aware that several licenses are now available to those with a healthy reputation. It is recommended for those of you who will be utilizing the convenient asteroid belt nearby, or even other systems.

What this mod does:
* Adds a specialized version of the 'Tunguska' freighter to the Hamilton Shipyards (Northeast of Planet Trinity/Vigo).
* It's specially crafted for lower level mining.
* It has double the cargo space (440)
* It has twice the speed
* It has twice the weaponry.
* Transporter range slightly increased for easier mining collection.
* It costs 1/3rd the price of a normal Tunguska.
* It has a (weak) cloak.
* Warlock III weapons are available on the station.
* A few mining-specific licenses available for people with a high enough reputation.

Please note that you will need at least -=Ensign=- rank to acquire this ship. Shouldn't be that difficult, as you'll need the money to buy it in the first place. =0]

This file affects the Tunguska Ship, and the Hamilton Shipyard. As no mods thus far mess with these files, it should be compatible with the other mods.
