Anyway, this works by looking for some tiles in front of your character:
"fixtures_escalators_01_48",
"fixtures_escalators_01_49",
"fixtures_escalators_01_50",
"fixtures_escalators_01_51",
"fixtures_escalators_01_56",
"fixtures_escalators_01_57"
And then looking for them above and below, and if it finds a match, it adds that match to your context menu.
So yes, if you use the brush tool or something and add the elevator door tiles stacked above or below each other, it will work. They can also be offset up to 4 tiles for like freight elevators that have an opening on the other side.
