Why would it not be added as a weapon? That's like saying a new medi-gun should be added as a cosmetic instead of a weapon

Yeah it would just work the way things do for some demoman miscs and the base jumper.

They've had hats that take weapon slots before.
Mainly shoes.

So how is anyone supposed to tell the difference between any of the items if they all have the same reskin as a cosmetic? Also, it would confuse new people even if it was only for, say, the BBanner

I think this should be a cosmetic. The taunt should be the Soldier drinking the potion.

If it was a cosmetic it would get so confusing for new people or people looking from a distance etc, it would work so much better as a seperate item (with the RTD effect maybe) OR as a reskin, but not a cosmetic

I really like this weapon, i don't think that as a cosmetic it would work well. It would clash to easily with so many of the other soldier weapons (Buff banner, Battalions backup and the Conch). When i first saw this I thought it was a single use rechargable effect like crit-I-cola and Bonk. but with a random effect. Plus since the (horn/potion) deployer is a potion i figured why does it affect the other team members. As i said before i really like the whole idea behind this weapon, but the topics mentioned just bring it down for me. I suggest that this would be fixed in my opinion, but i will support this weapon no matter what happens with it along the way.I only mean to give constructive critism if anyone here doesn't like what i have said, Plz let me know.
P.s. Thankyou for trying to make the TF2 world just that much bigger by making these kind of contributions to the community

I'd doubt this would be a Cosmetic. It just wouldn't work. People wouldn't even use it because it takes up the slot of more useful things, like the BBanner, BBackup, or the Concherer.

It would either be a new weapon by itself or a reskin of one of the pre-existing banners, my guess is the Buff Banner, since Valve seems to love it.

It's not going to be added if it's a weapon that's plain and simple. I remember him trying to add this to last years scream fotress and there were NO weapons put in, only hats and cosmetics
