Tanks with "Very Good" sight...
... are somewhat OP. I can understand, that you want to simulate the effect of thermal view; but from a gameplay perspective, they are too strong.

I would rather simulate this to "Normal" view while old tanks have "bad" and "modernized" ones have "mediocre".

I would rather like to see "Very good" on most casual recon units while vehicles with thermal view + special equipment would have "exceptional" - and "exceptional" should be VERY rare.

But thanks for the mod anyway ;)

i would recommend using tactics like the ones used in real life. The Soviet doctrine used conscripts to force enemies to fire at them revealing enemy positions for Russian artillery to then bombard. use cheap tanks or infantry to take hits and bring in more expensive tanks or AT weaponry to fire back and kill enemy armor or simply rain HE on anything that moves
