Yeah, there are alot of custom assets on this map it seems. It looks amazing, but the download time kills

Compress the map to bz2 format - it will dramatically reduce the size. The game can use this format.
7zip is very good free software to do it.

I agree this map is way too big, even when compressed to bz2 its still over 100mb. FMpone should just remove the ugly HDR, that would drop the size by half almost

Completely incorrect when it comes to CS:GO. He has the files on his FastDL already but there's a new system Valve introduced to prevent zip-bombs which means if a .bz2 file uncompresses >150MB, it gets deleted and the client gets a missing map error.

so this game cannot be downloaded via FASTDL at all? that sucks

The file size limit isn't for the download, it is for the uncompressed file which is still too large.

this map must be fix size, max after bzip is 60mb is good to put them to server

you are missing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ point, map cannot be downloaded via fastdl atm. So you cant put it on your community server if you aint using workshop system which brings it own problems

server operators should just support the workshop already - there is no downside and all of the bugs it had earlier on are ironed out!
