🟢Additions:

- Added "radio effects" to TIE/D voice lines

- Added TIE Warhead, TIE Stunner, and TIE Payload

- Added idle animation to the U-571 CHG (rotating radar dish)

- Added new unit icons to Imperial and Republic Gladiator-class

- Added a new detailed texture to the TIE Bomber (courtesy of Ripoblus)

- Added new Imperial and Republic LAAT models with the doors closed for space combat. Includes custom icons, as well as functioning beam weapons

- Added new missile models, smoke trails, and explosion effects to various units (Braha'tok gunship, Scimitar Assault Bomber, Insolvence-class Ordnance Cruiser, etc)

- Added a new TIE Bizarro squadron composition with 12 ships per squadron, consisting of 4 TIE Bizarros (renamed to TIE Turbo), 4 TIE Warheads, 4 TIE Stunners, and 4 TIE Payloads. Utilized by the Imperial Defectors

- Added proper medium ion cannon projectiles to go alongside their medium turbolaser counterparts. A single medium ion cannon shot does 250 DMG and applies -35% firepower and speed debuff to all classes for 3.5 seconds. Over time, more ships will be outfitted with medium ion cannons in place of standard/heavy ion cannons where applicable

- Added a new grey/yellow Sabaoth Destroyer for the Criminal Underworld (courtesy of Niko) with revised weapons consisting of quad medium turbolasers, single heavy turbolasers, and heavy dual ion cannons using an old school turret model that fits very nicely. Also added two untargetable quad heavy laser cannon hardpoints in the area where the old ion cannons were located. All of this results in a drastically more powerful ship, so 4 of the 6 medium quad turbolasers are limited to broadside firing. The two added heavy turbolasers are able to fire forwards to compensate.

- Added the I-Wing snubfighter (made by Kubli) for the Hutt Cartel, CSA, and pirate/militia faction. This will be the first in a series of several non-buildable AI units for the minor factions to add some fun diversity to pirate fleet compositions.

- Added the Braha'tok-class Gunship for the Rebels. Available at tech level 3 for 3000 credits, the Braha'tok is extremely deadly to starfighters and most corvettes, but its large size and slow speed makes it an easy target for frigates and capitals. Armed with x1 Heavy Laser Cannon, x2 Light Flak Cannon, x2 Quad Medium Laser Cannon, x2 Dual Light Turbolaser, and fires a volley of 6 high-yield concussuion missiles.


🟡Changes:

- Imperial LAAT's added to some early war Imperial ship garrisons

• Golan Defense Stations significantly buffed:
– Golan I: Shields increased from 50,000 → 75,000, HP from 100,000 → 150,000
– Golan II: Shields increased from 75,000 → 100,000, HP from 168,000 → 225,000
– Golan III: Shields increased from 100,000 → 350,000, HP from 250,000 → 420,000
– Weapon rate of fire and range slightly improved across all Golan variants

• Level 3 Space Colony weapons buffed:
– Dual heavy turbolaser range increased from 4500 → 4750, ROF from 1 shot → 3 shots every 6-8s
– Dual medium turbolaser range increased from 3750 → 4000, ROF from 2 shots every 4.5/5.5s → 1 shot every 1-2s
– Heavy ion cannons changed to medium ion cannons, range increased from 4500 → 4750, ROF from 1 shot → 3 shots every 6-8s

- Rebel X-4 gunship heavy laser cannons ranged and ROF increased

- Imperator-class pop cap increased from 20 to 22, AICV decreased from 2200 to 2000

- Further increased the range and accuracy of CIS Providence advanced proton torpedoes

- Vigil-CHS all weapons range increased (light turbolaser, concussion missile, medium laser cannon)

- Victory-I-class pop cap increased from 12 to 16, Victory-II-class pop cap increased from 12 to 18.

- Vigil-II advanced turbolaser replaced by quad light turbolasers. Medium laser cannon and light ion cannon ROF and range increased.

- Satellite Defense Grid buffed slightly. Heavy flak laser cannon range increased from 2250 to 2650. Quad light turbolaser changed to standard quad turbolaser, range increased to 3250.

- T62 Convor given a better simplified collision mesh, should result in better performance and more consitency hitting it. Heavy lasers changed to fire a dual projectile, instead of singles.

- Victory I-class Star Destroyer HP increased from 25200 to 25500. SP remains the same at 20000. Heavy laser cannon accuracy against starfighters reduced, ROF reduced.

- CIS Fantail-class frigate buffed. All weapon ranges increased. Standard dual ion cannon ROF increased. One heavy ion cannon swapped for a medium ion cannon with increased ROF. Light turbolasers changed to quad heavy laser cannons. All stats remain the same.

- Victory II-class Star Destroyer HP increased from 25000 to 30000. SP increased from 12500 to 20000. Weapons completely changed, now far less effective against armor, but more effective against shields. Weapons changed from x2 Heavy Ion Cannon, x2 Dual Turbolaser, x2 Heavy Mag-Pulse Missile Launcher, x3 Quad Turbolaser, x4 Octuple Turbolaser, x5 Ion Cannon, x5 Heavy Laser Cannon, x6 Turbolaser to x1 Heavy Ion Cannon, x2 Quad Ion Cannon, x2 Dual Turbolaser, x3 Quad Turbolaser, x4 Heavy Mag-Pulse Missile Launcher, x5 Heavy Laser Cannon, x6 Dual Medium Ion Cannon, x8 Turbolaser

- Scimitar Assault Bomber HP increased from 46 to 60, speed increased from 4.0 to 4.35, custom green missiles addded that do 200 dmg on impact, with 175 dmg AOE effect at 100 range, with 2 dmg level dropoffs. Less powerful than the Condor strategic bomber, but more projectiles in total fired, so more overall damage.

- Overhauled the Torpedo Sphere Siege Platform. All stats remain the same. Fires 188 green torpedoes. Garrison changed from the TIE swarm to: 4 TIE Fighter Squadron (32), 2 TIE Interceptor Squadron (16), 2 Y-E4 Gunship Squadron (8), 2 Tartan Gunship Squadron (8). Added catastrophic detonation effect, so when the TSSP dies it blows up and kills everything else around it.

- Allegiance-class Heavy Star Destroyer anti-capital performance buffed, anti-starfighter performance nerfed. HP increased from 85500 to 90000. Heavy concussion missiles no longer able to target starfighter or corvettes. 26 untargetable heavy laser cannons changed to single turbolasers. Single turbolaser hardpoints changed to quad turbolasers. Dual ion cannons changed to quad ion cannons. TIE Interceptors and TIE Brutes removed from garrison, now carries 3+12 TIE Fighter Squadrons

- Imperator-class Star Destroyers SP increased from 25000 to 30000, HP increased slightly from 58500 to 60000. Single turbolaser trench turrets ROF slightly decreased, but now given the ability to target starfighters with limited accuracy. Added 2 short range light repeating laser cannons to the trench that are extremely effective against starfighters. Also shares the passive point defense system with the ISD-1. The Imperator is the weakest of the Star Destroyer line overall, but is the best protected against bombers.

- Tector-class Star Destroyer slightly buffed. Heavy concussion missile hardpoints moved towards the front trench section. Original hardpoints replaced with single medium ion cannons. Heavy ion cannon replaced by dual medium ion cannon. 8 dual turbolasers added in the trench. SP increased from 35000 to 40000, HP increased from 75000 to 85000. Accuracy of quad heavy laser cannons reduced. Heavy concussion missiles no longer can target starfighters.

- Imperial I-class Star Destroyer slightly buffed. Added additional 8 dual turbolaser turrets to the trenches. All dual turbolasers ROF slightly decreased. Dual heavy laser cannons range increased, ROF decreased. HP increased from 65k to 75k. Added a passive point defense system with a range of 1000 and ROF of 1 blast every 3.5s

- Imperial II-class Star Destroyer slightly buffed. Added additional 8 dual turbolaser turrets to the trenches. HP remains the same at 75k. The 10 dual medium laser cannons around the superstructure have been replaced by heavy single laser cannons. Added two additional heavy laser cannons (in place of the light repeating lasers on the ISD1). Octuple turbolasers (240 dmg) changed to medium octuple turbolasers (800 dmg). The 10 quad turbolasers and 6 heavy ion cannon turrets have been removed from the hull. The 8 standard ion cannons around the hull have been changed to 9 standard dual ion cannons. The dorsal medium triple turbolaser turrets (and one heavy ion previously mentioned) have been replaced by a set of four heavy dual ion cannon turrets. Added a passive point defense system with a range of 1850 and ROF of 1 blast every 5s

- CIS Allocator-class Destroyer weapons changed. The eight flak cannons have been changed to dual turbolasers, while the two standard turbolasers in the front have been changed to repeating heavy laser cannons. This gives the Allocator some protection against enemy starfighters but leaves it otherwise defenseless. By contrast, its anti-ship performance increases significantly. For one thing, the dual turbolasers are general-purpose, with an inaccuracy rating of 15 against starfighters, so they can make contact. But the performance against other ships—especially corvettes—is noticeable. I felt the CIS has an abundance of flak-armed units for AA defense; a huge battleship like this should carry more general-purpose anti-ship weapons instead.

- Removed Admiral Zaarin from the Empire (buildable by the Imperial Defectors only)

- Removed Charger C70 from the Rebel/Criminal build bar (unless a Republic planet is owned to build them at)

- Fixed 6 of the 8 Servator main guns not being limited broadside. Now they are. (report by Karl)

- Fixed an ion cannon turret on all the Star Destoyer variants not functioning properly (report by Karl)

⚠️ Known Issues:

- Needa and Zsniji can be duplicated. Still working on a fix.

- Various bits of missing text here and there. I'm getting to it when I catch it.

- FFT is not skirmish compatible and will stay that way for a while. Very low on the priority list, will probably be the very last thing completed.


📝 Notes:

- The Dominator-class Star Destroyer remains disabled and will probably stay that way

- The Heavy Proton Torpedo variant of the Star Destroyer remains disabled pending rework

- Many of the "super ships" (Executor, Viscount, Eclipse, etc) remain unchanged from their Remake 4.0 stats/performance. Changes are planned, but will take time to work on.

- A massive project is underway to completely overhaul the Criminal Underworld "Ugly Scrapfighters" with new models, textures, stats, performances, and squadron compositions. This will take time. Stay tuned!
