I have no idea how feasible it is but maybe a Scyther variant with some kind of camouflage mechanic in exchange for being weaker in combat?

I know Royalty got a Psycast for it and Anomaly got the Revenant but does base game and/or Biotech allow it?

honestly i myself dont see a reason for scythers to use such techniques, as they usually are beefy, fast and have enough quantity to cut distance

Have you ever considered having utility mechs transformed into mechanoids used by other factions or pirates? They could behave like an event similar to Beavers!

I got some ideas:

Agrihands: Chops down trees and leaves the map with the wood.
Cleansweeper: Makes an action that will unearth toxic wastepacks and then leave.
Tunnelers: Similar to agrihands but they mine and takes the minerals when they leave. If nothing is available to mine, they will do the same thing as the Cleansweepers. Consider them more like a beefy Cleansweeper that can unearth more than one toxic wastepack at a time.
Constructoid: Will target the furthest structure from the home area, deconstruct (and/or even haul buildings) and leave the map.

They arent that threatening, so you can do one of the 2 options:

1. They are escorted by other battle mechs, from vanilla or from this mod.
2. They have a weapon similar to what the Constructoid used to have when Biotech was released ( a Slugthrower ).

i honestly didnt think about that, but it seems like it would be hard to make and this mod is not really desired to add events or such, its just more to just simply add variety to battle mechanoids

how about advanced versions of constructoids and fabricors that make them make them high tier buildings/items and make even faster

honestly, i feel upgraded version of these would be good for VE mechanoid mod stuff (which im gonna work as next mod) but mods for upgrading mechanoids also can work for this, but i can say, im gonna work on upgrading these mechs

dedicated shielder mech, unarmed, its only purpose is to be a walking shield generator. Its shield would be more powerful than the centurion or the legionary but mostly in regenerating, its shield capacity may not be high but with its advanced cooling system, its shield actively recovers during combat, allowing for more prolongued engagements unless they enemy has a heavier weapon or hits your shield too many times.

Illuminator: a mech designed to illuminate an area, particularly useful for Anomaly but shouldn't need to be dependent on anomaly.

well the shield mech is like you said centurion and legionary, honestly i also had idea of mechanoid boss that main purpose would be supporting and protecting other mechanoids around

for illuminator, thats something i havent think of, but honestly, would you really waste at min one bandwith just for moving light?

You should add some mechanoid that uses explosives, and another one that uses a jump pack
Amethyst the otter  [developer] 27 Apr, 2024 @ 9:35am
that actually could be doable and would fit

would really like to see a tankier version of the militor, maybe one with a shield? also a militor wielding a flamethrower would be awesome. since mechanoids are immune to fire it would make since for more of them to use fire based weaponry.
Amethyst the otter  [developer] 27 Apr, 2024 @ 10:05am
im considering adding melee militor, so i would make it heavier, but shield would be too much, and on fire mechs, im not considering adding any more since i feel there is enough fire mechs (centi scorcher tesseron)

Have you considered adding variations of centipedes at all? Feel like there's more potential for the mechanoid poster-children lol
Amethyst the otter  [developer] 29 Apr, 2024 @ 12:09pm
ive intentionally have skipped centipede since they aready have variations, if you have any idea for it ill take consideration but whole thing was to make other mechs centi-like with variations, and not add more centis

A Variant Of Militors With Non-Lethal Options, Probably Two With A Long Range And Melee Range But Can Do Warden Tasks
