Andromedon Desolator
Desolator
A walking warcrime machine, this Andromedon is armed with a radiation flamer and incendiary launcher, he is a frontline crowd control specialist

Arsenal:
  • Rad-Dust Flamethrower
  • Fire blob launcher
  • Dazzler shot cannon (not used atm)
Special abilities
  • Immune to radiation
  • Can be deployed even while injured
  • Wallcrasher (Can ram walls with his heavy armor)
  • Can dash melee
  • Primary weapon deals radiation damage, so it does not destroy loot and corpses
Starting abilities
  • Andromedon Melee and dash Melee
  • Nuclear Flame attack (does not break loot or corpses, does not burn, deals radiation procs)
  • Fire Blob (guaranteed burn in small AOE)
  • Has all the Andromedon immunities
Strenghts
  • Its an Andromedon, immune to fire, poison and acid
  • Has 10 innate defence
  • Radiation deals damage to almost everything, robot or alive and ignores fortress, the radiation debuffs makes it good as team support as it makes surviving units easier to kill or easier to withstand as it can lower their aim.
  • Fire Blob is a guaranteed indirect fire burn, they could hit enemies your Arsonist couldnt reach
  • Can dash melee against singular enemies
  • Radiation debuffs are great against boss enemies like Chosen or most of the Requiem Legion.
Weaknesses
  • Infiltration penalties
  • No long range combat capabilities
  • Unlike arsonists or technicals, his rad-flame attack is not guaranteed and has to aim and can be blocked by heavy cover
  • Vulnerable to psionics and anti-armor attacks
  • Lackluster direct damage, weak anti-big raw damage, altough the debuffs Desolator inflicts makes it easier when combined with other XCOM damage dealers.
