A crack at rewriting the description.
Hi there, cool mod!

So, for my own practice I decided to try rewriting this item's description, although if I could only make one change it would be to change "yet" in the first sentence to "and". I hope you won't think it presumptuous but I wanted to share the results. This is a few different attempts, the first a mostly original take and the rest just more conservative rewrites.

I'm not really satisfied with my own take here, but I was trying to solve an issue I saw with the description of how it works. Particularly that the current description seems to be saying that the implant monitors the implantees own "body language and speech patterns", which is the opposite of what you would expect an eye to be looking at, and then says that it suggests what to say or do... in response to the implantees own behavior? I found that phrasing confusing. I also wanted to bring a little of what I learned in a Sensory and Perception class into play here. It's weird to talking about a bionic eye replacement enhancing social behavior when the all the real processing is happening in the brain with extreme speeds. Conversations realistically move so fast and rely so heavily on existing cognitive abilities to process and act on social events quickly that I suspect an implant that throws potentially distracting suggestions into your visual field would be like trying to use a cane to run faster. That said it would probably really help someone who was disabled or just terrible at social interactions. It might really help pawns with annoying voice to shut up, or abrasive pawns to not start so many social fights.

Original: A prestigious yet advanced artificial eye. A complex mannerism analyzer compares and studies the body language and speech patterns of users, suggesting to the implantee the best ways to respond or react. With its biogel nerve-link, internal signal pre-processor, and wide-spectrum sensors, it is better than a biological eye in almost every way.

Attempt 1: A sophisticated, specialized glittertech artificial eye used to enhance both general vision and communication abilities. A full suite of image processors and wet/dry links is augmented by a dedicated social behavior analyzer. The facial expressions, speech and general body language observed in the user's foveal center are constantly monitored, and the user provided an evaluation of the observed subject's true thoughts, feelings and intentions, with suggestions on how to proceed in persuasive tactics.

Externally, the implant's high performance optical and wide-band EM sensors are presented as gleaming bionic ornamentation, giving testimony to both the exceptional acuity and prestige of the implantee. Compared to their combat oriented equivalents in glitterworld militaries, these prestige eyes are the apex of visual enhancement for environments where the tactics are social rather than martial, and are often used by high ranking officials or wealthy corporate executives. Artificial eyes of this nature are among the most sophisticated bionics manufactured by human societies.

Attempt 2: A prestigious and advanced artificial eye. A complex mannerism analyzer interprets the body language and speech patterns of those their users observe, and suggests the best ways that implantees can respond or react. With its excellent optical performance and powerful social enhancements, it is much more than just an eye.

Attempt 3: A prestigious and advanced artificial eye. A complex mannerism analyzer interprets the body language and speech patterns that its users observe, and suggests the best ways that implantees can respond or react. With its excellent optical performance and powerful social enhancements, it is both better than any biological eye, and more.
