Total War: WARHAMMER III

[6.2] Grandolph's Simple Dynamic Settlements Reborn
Upcoming OvN Lost World Mod
The OvN team is creating a big mod that adds a lot of unique settlement skins. I would hate for their unique skins to be overwritten with generic skins by this mod so I'm wondering if this mod will overwrite the occasional unique settlement skin in the game or if it's made so that it doesn't overwrite unique settlement skins.

It shouldn't overwrite any unique skins, depending on how they altered the tables. That said, any settlements that have been specifically controlled in this mod (Barak Varr for example) won't change still. Can't promise it will work 100%, but should work alright depending how it is being done on their end. You can see their Araby Mod for an example where it still works ok with this mod.
It sadly doesn't work. I am imagining it would be an easier fix on this side then on theirs. Maybe removing their special settlements from getting the update.

Tried them together, from what I can see the unique skins for -specific- settlements aren't touched. But the Border Prince (Modded with Cataph's southern factions) factions lose their unique settlement skins.
They're replaced by the standard Empire settlement skins.

The unique settlements get overwritten if you conquer them with your army.
The unique OVN appearances do get overwritten sometimes, but I'm not entirely sure how. I just took Black Crag as High Elves and it changed to a generic elven city, but when I took Pigbarter it stayed the same (although it did later sink. But the fourth one will stay up)

I wrote a guide on how to manually replace settlement skins, this can be used if the OvN Lost Worlds skins get replaced.

some do some don't, which is nice when you conquer something like skaven blight so it can be returned to it's original empire building while others like karak eight peaks is a massive unique structure that gets overwritten with a standard one when conquered by a dwarven faction
