Obligatory Stats Thread
Fires nails instead of bullets
Nails travel in straight trajectory momentarily before a heavy arc begins taking effect.
(Projectiles move at about 1500 hu/s, flat trajectory range is about 2k hu)
Much tighter spread than minigun (exact number is idfk because angles are weird)
Cannot be reflected or destroyed
16 damage per nail
- 75% bullets per shot (1 nail per ammo)
- 50% primary ammo (100 rounds)

Is meant to give the heavy more of a mid-range harassment niche, whilst weakening the usual close range shredding the regular minigun is usually capable of (projectiles also make it a bit hard to defend yourself at close range.).
Straight arc at the start is to better reflect tfc and quake nails which have no gravity, but to limit range, nails become heavily influenced by gravity after a short moment of travel (moreso than any other projectile, but still enough to get a lil extra range from)
Low ammo makes spamming chokes less viable.

its a cool design but why would i use this over the stock minigun? youre gonna have to put it in laymans terms im a bit of an idiot

better damage at ranges the minigun struggles with

I don't think you need to develop it beyond this, these stats would be sick and an oversized shortstop would be funny to pester people with.

1-100 Level Nail Gun

PROS:
Hold Alt.Fire key to build up Pressure to increase firing speed(Increasing number bullets per shot up to 8 - 200%. Showed as bar under ammo count like with Sticky Bomb Launchers)
Burst fire after receiving mini-crit or critical damage(Similar to Max Pressure - 8 bullets/shot. On Max Pressure itself it fires until Pressure would go down to 0%)
Knockback wearer while firing downwards on high Pressure(Power of knockback is forming up on 75-100% of meter)
-25% damage resistance while health below 50% and spun up.

CONS:
Shoots two bullets at time without built up Pressure(Which deals around 1.5-2 times less damage)
Over-pressuring makes you Marked-For-Death until Pressure will be lowered
Pushing force while firing is increasing with Pressure(Decreasing movement speed down to 0 around 75% and then push you back with quarter of Heavy's base speed - 15%, like walking forward with Brass Beast.)

EXPLANATION:
This variant is providing extra mobility with practically jumping while revved up and helps a bit with retreating.
