How to use this mod / Troubleshooting / Bugs
How to play as Deathclaws
Start a new colony, edit your scenario, and select New Pack for your group.

Babies
Babies aren't 100% implemented in the original mod properly. I'm still playing with it to find potential issues.
So far, it seems they're just counted as adults in most ways out of the box.
Meaning they need a normal bed, not a crib.
Breastfeeding seems to work fine.

What about <thing>? How does <insert thing here> work?
Read the original mod page carefully. I haven't changed anything yet from the original.
Right now they only have one generic backstory that does nothing but boost melee. If you spam randomize you might get lucky and get an undefined faction with random backstories.

I'll update this post if need be.
Post any issues in the comments, I might be able to fix them, probably not tho. I'm new to modding rimworld. I just wanted Deathclaws dammit.

Fully healed? That sounds like something else.
Context? Other mods that might deal with health?

Yeah, if when ever I put genes in them, as for the gene mods, Mainly Alpha genes. The bug doesn't happen if there's no genes. Either that or a melee hunt mod I've got. It's one or the other

Yeah this was made before biotech was even a thing, the original author never really added any support for that.
I might look into it, or I might just leave it and make my own proper race mod.

Someone could really go heavy modding with deathclaws, there's plenty of fallout lore and stuff you could use as inspiration for genes and backstories and stuff, But it wouldn't make a lot of sense to be doing it off of someone else's work.

Good day/night
I have this annoying issue in which the deathclaws turn into their "desiccated" texture whilst alive and have their normal textures whilst dead. I'm unsure of what could be the issue (tried to do some redneck modding to fix but it failed).
