It's probably not a glitch, and definitely not part of the map. This is most likely caused by something else you're subscribed to.

Any addon, even seemingly innocent stuff like maps and weapons, can contain scripts that randomly spawn these kinds of things in unrelated maps. The gm_construct 13 beta addon is a popular one, though its author recently agreed to remove gm_fork from its list of affected maps. But I'm sure there are still plenty of other addons that do similar things.

I suggest investigating any recently installed or updated addon. Visit the GMod workshop and go to Browse -> Subscribed items. On the right side of the page, set the sorting to Date Subscribed or Date Updated. Starting at the top of the list, take a look at each addon and see if there are any comments of discussions reporting similar sightings. If so, disable or remove that addon and see if that fixes the issue.

It's worth noting that workshop authors can disable or delete comments and discussions that are posted on their addons, so you might not be able to find anything. In that case, you'll have to gradually disable or remove all of your addons until it stops happening. Focus mainly on addons that were created or updated in the past two years or so, as these kinds of sightings weren't really commonplace before that time.

I would appreciate it if you'd contact the thread author directly or discuss this in GMod's general forum instead. These sightings have nothing to do with this map, aside from the fact that it frequently gets targeted because it's popular or because it supports AI navigation. I'm tired of entertaining the notion that a map could actually be haunted or that I'm responsible for what's happening here.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply it was you or anyone else specifically who said that. I'd just rather not have the topic pop up here so often when it's something that I didn't add to the map and can't prevent from happening.

i think cause of problems is gm_construct 13 beta.

this map infects your garrys mod 3-4 days later, after which a black entity will walk around your worlds

It's real! I saw it too, and it threw like a box at me killing me, and said with like a robotic voice, "I am going to eat your balls" and the game crashed
