Despite not being designed for PVP, there are some nuances in the mechanics that makes for a decent PVP experience.
- Elemental shields do not have any collision with the caster.
- Shields can block all projectile spells and beams. Explosion tend to go through, so that is a hard counter. (such is Gmod)
- Pushing (casting a spell with an empty palette) can displace shields, dropping your enemy's defenses.
- Arcane beams cause explosions upon contacting an entity or killing an NPC/Player.
- Life beams that are mixed with a damaging element heal LESS than they hurt. They also do not naturally cause explosions upon contacting an entity or killing an NPC/Player.
