Yes, most, if not all, of the original troops (this includes all of the original male and original female troops) are still in the game.

I played it a bit, one thing i wish though, is that you could still recruit men from villages, it makes the early came feel really unbalanced, and once again, like a free online MMO.

That was my original plan actually, but I'm still really new at modding mount and blade and my efforts to get something like that to happen didn't work. I'm looking to take another stab at it now that I've read/learned/experimented a bit more. There's a snippet of code out there I may try and see if I can get to work. Something along the lines of being able to recruit a few men in towns would be nice.

Things are better than they used to be, of course, but a few rescued male captives isn't the same as being able to recruit.

you need both men and women in nearlly balanced numbers though ther eneeds to be a quest to find a way to get fresh men in ot the land as a whole you know find a camp near the edge of the map and do some missions and then a sotry or main quest at each camp to secure a immagration way to get fresh men in to the land at those camps and after compleating the main quest the player can use that camp as a privet feif to build up from just a normal camp to a full fledged town or castle with all of the perks of sauch. especally if it involves the introduction of gunpowder in to the mix or something. :O IDK just throwing out ideas.

you also need to make it so when you recruit you don't get all guys but wimen to not characters but the regular ones you see in cities and villages you need to balance

You find alot of mercs in the bars (especially lower men like villagers more often), which is explained in the history of the game, so it's really easy to have all men if you avoid villages. (but I personally love my all female army ;) which is sort of the point of this mod, to begin with.

i love this mod but i would also enjoy to even a bit the proportions of my army
