Well first to be honest it's not entirely intended. I hadn't wanted her to a be super-powerful character, but I hadn't targeted very underwhelming either. All of the companions were put together before I had planned on releasing the mod, so they could probably use some more work. One thing I've learned over the past couple of months is that I can push things farther than I thought I could without it breaking down, and a lot of what I did at first was overly conservative. Just think, she didn't always have a riding skill. Nothing like spending 8,000 denars to recruit someone into an all calvary army who can't ride a horse, and won't level up for a long time...
That said, the reason your post made me chuckle was because the idea of her being a lying braggart fit in well with her personality, a know-it-all, full of herself, obviously skilled, but quite simply a jerk more often than not. She's already trying to lead you on and play mind-games with you from the first conversation, so the idea that she's not being honest about her skill level fits fairly well.
To that end I had thought of her as a character who might be a bit over-priced, but not that over-priced. I haven't taken a look at her stats in a while TBH, and while Huynh is expensive as well, she can pay for herself over time, especially if you recruit her early on.
Anyway, that's lots of rambling from me, but it really is a good point you made. I'll go back and tweak her. She really shouldn't be considerably weaker than a Huscarl. Could probably make those power-XXX skills and ironflesh all 5's or 6's pretty easily. Something that says "yeah you're good, but maybe not 8000 denars good" would be my thought at least. Do you have any thoughts on it?
Also thank you too, it's hard for me to judge these things on my own sometimes.
As for Liana, her price is rather extraordinarily high. It might be because I'm a bit biased against AGI, but even her power strike and ironflesh are relatively low. She'll also not be levelling anytime soon so she can't pump up her STR to even get more power strike, which makes her considerably weaker than ironically, Ymira, since Ymira can easily get to a decent STR and power strike fairly quickly. Although, Liana's proficiencies might make up for the lack of Power Strike and Power Throw, but I haven't actually done real testing on that.
I also wouldn't mind if Liana started off with some points in trainer just to make her high starting level useful.
Her athletics is very high and fine where it is.
I can't really think of anything else off the top of her head.
Updated Liana, changes in bold:

I'll think about adding some trainer in there as well, could definitely be useful, but also she doesn't strike me as the kind of personality who'd be interested in training others. Maybe a couple of points though...
Her weapon skills are definitely high, I suppose some power draw could help that more useful (at least in a readily apparent way. An assassin who can't shoot a bow? Doesn't fit very well...
And yeah, I wouldn't think she'd be actively training people, but I think the troops might learn a little bit of something from just watching her in battle and fighting with her considering that she does possess at least some legitimate skill. Even 1 in trainer would make her character much more useful than it already is.
Overall, though, I think that is enough changes for now.
"Npc 17 morality speech ap24" or something to that affect. Should I be worried?
