USMC Rapid fire and Force recon Surgical Shooting.
Since the Eally Access, i wanted to get USMC Rifles and Force Recon to use Rapid Fire. It would be really boring if all units used Burst fire.

I've expanded options for Rapid fire for only Marine units. If you don't want rapid fire, there are still other options. For Force recon, you only enable in Medium Aim Speed without enable Surgical shooting. Then you can still use Burst fire well. If you want high critical rate and precision, you have no choice but to choose Surgical Shooting and accept the Rapid fire.
It's similar with Marine Rifles. Instead of giving up Rapid fire and use Aimed Fire in Medium range, you can keep Burst Fire.

Their critical rates work the way I intended them to. Not only those doctrines increase critical. And those doctrines greatly increase critical among another doctrines.
It may be inappropriate to compare with Rangers' Burst Fire. They are Overpowered. Even they might can get negative lol aimtime at some ranges.. To be honest, I want to set the standard for balance to the CIA, not them.

Also i doubt about Rapid fire not being able to deal with an Body armored unit. Haven't we already killed a bunch of armored bodyguards at Early Access, just with Rapid fire? The only unit that could play Burst fire was Rangers at the time, and even that didn't get over 6m.

Thanks for explaining your reasoning. The only armored enemies I have issue with dealing with anyways are the spetnaz heavy troops which is modded enemy. lvl 4 armor with a facemask. In the base game/early access I hardly see enemy with any armor besides SSI so I'm not sure that's the best comparison, still I understand what you're attempting to explain.

Other than SSI, the main Armored unit is Heavy Bodyguard, who has worn a black armor. It's tricky for him to handle AKS-74U skillfully and weared body armor, but Rapid fire is enough to deal with them.

Makes sense, as always thank you for the hard work and especially thank you for communicating your design ideas, really helps flesh out the mod and understand what the play difference is between the squads
