Is there an icon decoder?
The icons of a blue house with an X or with ghosts and an arrow - I'm guessing it means go in that direction for that group, but how to tell what groups are what? I've looked in the 'guidebook' but it's just walls of text with no diagrams or graphical explanations.

Yeah...

"
Notification icons show up only if they are turned on in sandbox settings. Green icon: friendlies, red icon: raiders, yellow icon: wanderers and the violet icon are the bandits' bases, The icon points to the spawn location, not the actual position of any bandit. The icon will not vanish automatically. To make it go away, double click it.
"

Didn't help at all, like I said. No mention of the white/cream/grey icons or the house with a cross in it.

Snarky.

Pictures + description would be helpful for this in the guide or workshop image. On our server we have been making best guesses at what they mean with mixed results/accuracy

Why is this not enough exactly:

Notification icons show up only if they are turned on in sandbox settings. Green icon: friendlies, red icon: raiders, yellow icon: wanderers and the violet and blue icons are the bandits' bases/houses, The icon points to the spawn location, not the actual position of any bandit. The icon will not vanish automatically. To make it go away, double click it.

You made these, you know what they represent, BUT, other people in universe exist who aren't mind readers, and you need to clearly communicate with people for them to understand.

The 'ghost' icons are grey/beige and there are multiple and they're is NOTHING to communicate what they mean and which level of 'bandit' they refer to.

So IF YOU WANT people to appreciate your work and the effort you put into it, instead of being snarky, arrogant and elitist, then just make a post with every icon and a small text to describe what they do, because it's obvious from this post that more than one person in the universe can't read your mind and your idea of clear communication is opaque.

Seriously each icon has a color and that color points to concrete bandit type. The picture is redundant information because the color provides all the information. All bandit types as described too What is missing again?

The mod description uses all possible character limit and I can't make it any longer. That's why I made the guide which is very long. I do document as much as I can. I may have missed something. But really I don't see what is missing here again. Th

The icons gets desaturated when the player is far away. When closing in the color becomes more intense. Is that the problem?

The picture of an icon is 'redundant'?! WTH? Kinda defeats the purpose of a pictogram doesn't it?

And nowhere did I read about the desaturation - so yeah, everything looking pale beige now makes more sense, but as the ICONS themselves have differing images, then when they're 'desaturated' I can't tell what they are referring to.

You've put a HUGE amount of effort and unpaid work into this - surely the last step of making things EXPLICITLY CLEAR isn't too much to ask?

As it stands, its confusing and unclear - two things I don't believe you want your impressive mod to be.

I have no idea what you are trying to communicate.

Making and maintaning a picture doc costs more time than text doc. Especially because I am not good in graphics at all. If you want a pic you can contribute one and not demand it. That's all.
