MADNESS: Project Nexus

MADNESS: Project Nexus

Wingidon's Miscellaneous Enhancements
Hireling Voices
Im curious on all the voices the hirelings use, especially the Disquieted. I'm not sure if it's due to the origin revamp mod but they have a voice that I can't quite pinpoint - high pitched distorted cackling and gurgling. It's fitting, don't get me wrong but man. that ♥♥♥♥ eludes me lmao
I know Agents use the Nexus unit voicelines, Experiments use the Delta vl, patients use well, patient lines, etc
It's probably some late game story enemy - I don't think I've played campaign since early 2023 :sob: i still gotta get burger detective and ironic defeat lmao but that's beside the point

Each Hireling type actually uses a unique voiceset. Here's a list:
Base Hirelings - Toughs
Agents - Nexus
Disquieted - Ghost (These voicelines are originally used by the enemies Phobos summons in his bossfight)
Experiment - N51 C (aka the Delta)
Magiturge - Magiturge (naturally)
Massive - Soldier (I think this is also what the basegame Massive uses as far as I recall.)
Mercenary - MERC
Noob - Deimos
Offering - Husk
Patient - Patient (not sure what anyone was expecting with this)
Tinkerer - Bandit

i feel like base hirelings (Toughs) and noob hirelings (Deimos) are both noob origin

That is correct, Preston. I equipped the Noob origin on base Hirelings because, well, that's kinda what they are.
