TerRoguelike
item smuggling bug (new game+)
i found out a bug that allows you to take the full amount of a single type of item (burning charcoal, the dreamsoul) you got in the previous run to the next one.
you need to hold it like you would when using an item that isn't in your hotbar, either when the cutscene of winning is playing or right before dying, then with the item still held, press the new run.
if you want the bug to work, DON'T press esc. it will release the item and you won't be able to take it.
btw, if aqua is reading this, pls remove dps cap on final boss.

theres no dps cap for final boss, across all bosses damage is reduced the more they are attacked, so with high attack speed + debuffs bosses typically take significantly less damage than they would on paper

this is just more apparent on final boss cuz you have more items on final boss than other boss, either that or true brain has some numbers tweaked higher or smn idk

anyhow neat glitch

i think there is, cuz no matter how good my run is, i almost never beat him in less than a single play of the theme song. i also saw that the more i hit the boss, the damage i deal gets reduced. unlike the normal game, damage is usually consistent in terroguelike, so if it really reduced damage by a flat amount, i'd see 70-70-70, not 89-81-76. there's also a limit on the dps on moonlord, if it is a dps limit and not a flat reduction.

So this bug apparently makes Life Crystals not drop for the rest of the play session, even if you disable all other mods. So that's really funny.

Moon Lord and True Brain don't have a DPS cap. They have adaptive armor. You can punch through it with enough damage, or with burst damage. (As long as it isn't in separate hits, like a Shotgun Kit.) It will not be going anywhere.
