Can you provide more information?

Are you talking MP or SP? What do you mean by "loot settings seem to reset'?

I have almost all of stuff on insanely rare and once I used this mod all of the houses seem to come back to their default loot settings: rows of food in majority of the counters and melee weapons rarity chance cranking up. I might do some tests again but this is what I've seen from my experience, single player

Hmmm. Nothing in this mod should affect loot settings. Is there a possibility when changing Sandbox Settings you loaded a default or reset the settings?

Respawns from the death screen are always on level 0. The other two coordinates are still the same but your character is loaded to 0. Multiplayer btw.

TLDR: Working on a Fix, here is a workaround

Thanks for reporting this issue, I am trying to track down a solution. Until I do, a workaround is this: When you die, if you "Quit" to the main menu, then continue the game, and create a character that way, it will properly use the level if set above zero. That is instead of just clicking "New Character" when you die.

The issue is that the "respawn" in single player uses the co-op code to choose the spawn location and it is stamping the spawn point to level zero. I'd like to test this on vanilla, but it would be incredibly difficult to replicate in order to test it. I'm working my way through the co-op script logic to try and find where it is stomping on the Z setting. In the meantime, if you load the character creation from the main menu, it uses the "Choose Your Spawn" Z setting as the mod intended.

Hi there, sorry for posting originally in the wrong place. Honest mistake. Thank you for your quick response and solution. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain it out as well, its really helpful to know how this bug works. Ill be sure to have players exit the lobby before respawning.

I recently set up a server with 375 mods to play with friends and found out that this mod doesn't let us respawn after death (it was quite a tedious bug hunt, let me tell you). This bug also occurred in singleplayer. I'm not sure if it's an incompatibility, but I tried playing with only this mod enabled, and the bug persisted. Any ideas?

What Build are you using?

B42, not working on existing saves.

Mod is enabled in save.

Workaround for existing savegames:

Create a new Sandbox and copy the new "map_ver.bin" in your existing Sandbox.

Are you using a Sandbox Mod to edit the sandbox settings in the existing save?

Thank you for this...

I had setup a dedicated server (B41 41.78.16) with about five or six mods, at first. This was one of the early mods. Thought I had set one of the settings incorrectly when we weren't able to re-spawn after death. After 100 mods later, we got tired of quitting/rejoining to spawn. Checked mods one by one by uninstalling, checking discussions/bugs, and found your post. Uninstalled the mod and re-spawn is working again.

I have gotten several people now that have reported issues that were resolved with unsubbing and reinstalling the mod. It seems like for whatever reason some files are not being installed/updated into the Steam Workshop directories. I'm not sure if it is related to people switching between Beta/42 and Stable/41 or just a general Steam issue (is there an option to turn off autoupdating?), but you are the third person recently to say this same thing.
