Regardless of References
Okay, so, I know this is gonna sound like absolute tard-speak here, but think of it like this:
This is a well made item. It's good looking, could see a lot of interesting loadouts in-game, and even has jigglebones. Even if it is a reference to a game that a lot of people dislike, which it is, it's a matter of being an adult about things, looking at a well made item, and saying "Y'know? I may not agree with this, but it's fine".

FNaF could be a good game, could be a bad game. But opinions aside, this is a good looking item, at least in my own view. And even if you didn't like it, would it really be a mature thing to do to go into the discussions and go "FNAF IS SUCK, FNAF IS GARBAGE, KILL URSELF ♥♥♥♥♥♥!!!1!1!!!11!1one!!" when it's an item from 2014 anyways, which was the literal starting point for FNaF and was uploaded before it gained any real traction besides a small group of not even really that dedicated fans?

It isn't even about whether or not it's a good item or reference. It's about not being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because you don't like the game it's in reference to.

Thankfully, It's saturated enough that if we get of the big stuff Scott promised for FNAF, you'll rest knowing that TF2 is keeping the Fazbear Family of Robotic failures and paranormal happenings, alive and well maintained. We still have a few decades of 21st century humor, This might as well be added into the game.
Doesn't help that both the games involved with this have humor which sticks, regardless of who it appeals to, once swarmed by those under 13 at one point in their lives, and have confusing lore behind it.
Just wait for both FNAF to lose all relevance, and this game to merely be confirmed on life support, maybe even dead, and no one will worry about this. Valve will die, and Activision's COD fever will eventually kill me off, both metaphorically and literally.

We're all clowns on the internet. Our games are our respective circus jobs. And yet, so many people war over which circus is the greatest on Earth. I just wish we could all laugh together..
